Jessica grew up in the foothills of Western North Carolina, where her love for the arts began at an early age. As a child, she enjoyed writing, drawing, and capturing memories with her pink and purple Le Clic camera. In high school, Jessica furthered her interest in painting, thanks in great part to the guidance of a dedicated teacher.

After marrying, and while raising two young boys, poured her artistic focus into photography. She fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning her own studio and was blessed with seven successful years of business and a circle of wonderful clients. After taking some time away due to illness, Jessica felt a strong desire to return to the creative world, but in a way that was less physically demanding. Eventually, she rediscovered her passion for drawing and painting, finding the slower pace to be a perfect fit.

Today, Jessica enjoys painting on canvas and exploring digital illustration. Her designs in both, often reflect her Christian faith, North Carolina mountain roots, and her deep love for animals.

Jessica has participated in several juried artisan markets and competitions, and in 2024, she won the People’s Choice Award at the Northwest Artist’s Exhibition for her piece, “Come Together.” That same summer, she was also honored to design for NORD’s annual patient conference in Los Angeles.
